Fotshz Multilayer Polyamide Casing combines high barrier properties, preservation of organoleptic features and attractive appearance of the finished product.
Fotshz R polyamide casing is suitable for stuffing, packing, storing and selling of cooked or scalded cylinder-shaped sausages, hams, pates, processed cheese, edible animal fats, margarines and other
non smoked food products.
Fotshz F casing features excellent adhesion to the emulsion and offers solution for the production of molded sausages and hams.
Fotshz EP casing is well suited for easy peeling without tearing due to its light adhesion characteristic.
Fotshz S casing is meant for production of pasteurized and sterilized products such as sausages, pates, other meat products, cat and dog food which requires autoclave thermal processing at up to 124°C.
Fotshz casing is a casing of high performance, produced by modern equipment allowing constant monitoring of all parameters and maximum automation of the production process. The extended shelf-life is a distinctive characteristic of Flexcell multilayer polyamide casing. This, along with its ability for long-lasting preservation of the flavor and freshness of the stuffing, guarantees manufacturing a product of high-quality standard.

Technological Splices
Technological splices are allowed:
- 4 splices per reel of 1000 m
- 5 splices per 1000 m of shirred casing.
The minimum distance between splices is 70 meters.

FOOD LEGISLATION CONSIDERATION
All products and materials are manufactured according to the requirements of Commission Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 of 22 December 2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. The product as well as all elements of the materials and articles used for the manufacture meet all of the statutory requirements stipulated by the Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, EC 10/2011 relative to food contact plastics; US FDA Regulation Title 21, Section 177.1500, Section 177.1520, Section 177.1600, Section 178.3620
STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION, WARRANTY PERIOD
Casing should be stored in its original package on pallets at closed, clean and dry conditions at temperatures from +5°C to +35°C and RH of 80%. The minimum distance to heating elements must be 800 mm. No strongly smelling and aggressive substances are allowed. Handling and transportation temperature should not exceed +40°C, direct sunlight is not allowed. If storage and transportation conditions are carefully observed and product is kept in unopened original package, the warranty period, except for the ready-to-use option, is valid within 3 (three) years.
